Making a leap forward in the breathtaking homicide of Infosys programming engineer S. Swathi at the Nungambakkam railroad station in Chennai a week ago, the police late on Friday captured her suspected executioner in Tirunelveli area.

Police sources said the suspect, distinguished as Ramkumar, touched base in Chennai three months prior. On May 11, the primary known date of his contact with Swathi, he apparently went to Paranur,the closest railroad station to the Infosys grounds where she was working.




After a month, the suspect professedly stalked Swathi on her approach to and from office.

Chennai Police Commissioner T.K. Rajendran tended to the media, clarifying the points of interest of the case — including the occasions that prompted the suspect's capture.
